For what it's worth, I've been playing the Mustang with its new tremolo arm for the last few days, and I think it sits way too high in the rocker bar. I also have a Bigsby B5 on my SG Classic; the arm sits much lower and is easier to access compared to the Mustang trem arm.

I have a modern 1965 Fender Mustang RI. It was missing the tremolo arm, so I ordered an official Fender replacement part.

The new arm does *not* have any threads, and the rocker it fits into is not threaded, either. As a result, the tremolo arm flops down when it's not in use.

Well, someone on HC said the necks can be swapped around so I'm gonna give it a shot next time I change strings. Nuttin' to lose, I figure.

I love my Classic Player Jaguar Special HH. Now I'm wishing I had $2.8K for the Johnny Marr signature Jaguar. I just bought a 65RI Mustang and I really like it, but the Jaguar just seems to fit better and give me the tones I want.

I've got a 65RI Mustang with a 7.25" radius neck and a Classic Player Jag Special HH with a 9.5" radius.

Just curious whether these two necks are interchangeable. The next time I swap strings, it might be fun to swap necks assuming that the neck pockets are the same on both guitars.

I'm of the opinion that pretty much *any* guitar looks cool when it's standing up against an old, weathered fence or wooden wall with crumbling paint.

I used the opportunity to tighten up my '65RI Mustang tremolo springs by moving them up the tension post. This was not easy to do. I had to use some pliers in my left hand and a dull chisel in my right ...

It's official. I HATE 10-52's on my new Mustang and on my CP Jaguar HH, too. Can't wait to cut off the D'addario 10-52's and replace them with normal strings.

I've been trying out D'addario 10-52's on my new '65RI...but I have to say that I'm having second thoughts. The next time I swap strings, I think I'll put on some Gibson 10-46 Brite Wires for comparison.
