How old is my guitar?

Just out of curiosity I'd like to know how old my Bronco is. http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g45/greasermonkeyinprint/temporary_zpswc8935nq.jpg

This is a pic of the heel, there's a J. Torres name stamp too, if that's relevant.
The girl that sold it to me had it since '78 and said she thought it ...

I'm pretty sure that orange guitar was put together from old ('60s parts) and belongs to a shortscaler (or did do).

Is there much wear in the frets and is there enough meat on the frets to level and dress if there is wear?
Does the truss rod work properly?
Is the neck twisted?

Other than that, if your happy with the way is feels and sounds just give it a good clean, oil the fretboard and rock out.

I honestly never expected that.
And they're going to be something like OG spec? I noticed the scale is 22.7" rather than 22.5" of OG Swinger.

Would these fit or do they have the same problem as the Schaller tuners?

From my experience, while you could counter bore the back of the headstock and use the original-to-the-neck ...

That one I think is a mk2.

38mm thickness, neck pocket 15.88mm pocket depth, supporting thickness by default is 22.12mm.
Though if you need deeper/shallower route or an angled pocket to compensate for different bridge height do so.

The PRS concept of the best of Fender and the best of Gibson melded together to make an über guitar is rather appealing, but the over use of (weird colored) flamed maple and bird inlays kinda shit on those aspirations IMO.

I think the gauge of the wire used on the coils also impacts the resistance, but not necessarily the output of the pickup.
Thicker wire = less resistance per wind.

*Edited for clarity* what I tried to explain in a clunky way is DC resistance isn't always analogous to loudness.

Mustang with 1 piece maple neck 1 piece walnut body.
Walnut plug and skunk stripe cut from same walnut as body.
Glossy clear coat on it all.
Black pickguard and pickup covers.

Squier Jagmaster, the 21 fret 24" scale one though.
I would investigate sorting your existing neck.
What do you mean by 'warp'? Like a twist along the neck or a bowing with/against the string tension?
A tweak of the truss rod and/or a fret leveling might get it sorted.

It's almost there, I'm not a fan of the headstock though and I would feel the need to round off that awkward corner of the pickguard and the end of the fretboard.
I think you could juat swap the neck out for something more conventional looking.
