I don't think this is a heinous or bad move at all. Personally I prefer the big box aesthetic and I have one.
People have been asking for a small DMM on the forums for years now and EHX are responding and keeping the circuit intact, that is to be praised - if only all pedal ...

I don't quite get this -- wouldn't you say the same for the 'trapezoid' pedals too -- ie, don't those all look the same knob-wise too? Or, for that matter, just about any group of pedals that all use the same enclosure?

if i remember well scott from EHX mentioned somewhere that its not EXACTLY the same circuit as some parts were replaced for RoHS compliance. this is kind of sad, as the original sound will be lost

It is exactly the same circuit -- my understanding is that the process that generates the new board ...

Interesting. I didn't realise that it was specifically an RoHS product. Same about the Graphic Fuzz or is that just the DMM?

I'm less an expert on the different circuits (you should come join us on the EHX forums ) -- I believe the XO Graphic Fuzz is pretty much the same, and I believe the RoHS ...

Its pretty cool, plus i think i spotted what appears to be a new memory man in the background.
Oh and for some reason they only seem to test strats, who knows why.
