I saw them touring to support Punk in Drublic. Good live show, Fat Mike kept tormenting the crowd by pretending to start the show then walking off stage. He did it like 10 times.

I don't usually go for pop punk, but they're more or less a legacy act at this point.

Which by the way was one of the best gigs I've been to (apart from the lame emo band supporting them...jesus they were bad) ...and I've never seen a crowd go so mental...also yet another thing of note, couldn't get ...

After trying out several MIM...I took a gamble and ordered a CIJ (I know, risky)...low and behold it came perfectly set up, the finish is spot ...

I've read the info from Seymour Duncan and it says if I'm using my SD Pup with a Fender one, I have to solder the white wire to where the black one was and vice versa. Does that sound about right to you guys?

With my Jag and Quarter Pound on the way I enquired about having the QP PUP installed and the guy said £35.....is that about right? Last time I had it done it cost me £15 - however that was 2001/02 - has it gone up that much?

It seems to me that if there's one version that you can actually play and see if you like it or not before you buy it, and there's another one that you'd actually have to buy sight unseen before you even see it, there ought to be a srong inclination to just decide about the first one before you go ...

No I' cool with the faffing, to get what you want it usually takes time and work - if you're serious about your music, why should the sound of your guitar be any different IMO.

If I had to buy one tomorrow I'd probably go for any one with the regular bridge as I'm not a TOM fan. I do prefer the oldschool radius too, but some people don't seem to really notice the difference.
