I just installed these tonight on my Jagmaster. The ones on mine were bad, they slipped. You could see them slip when you stretched strings. These Wilkinson I installed are nice. They are rotomatics and like 26 bucks

This could be off a bit but, I have have guitars behave just like that under high gain playing and it was due to a bad ground.

I think those DD pickups are hit and miss kinda like everything else. I have had some good ones and some bad ones of the same model before

I always put a little chapstick in the nut. you can also do the same thing by coloring the slots with mechanical pencil. the graphite helps.

I have to say, the jack cups aren't to attractive. They are in no way a deal breaker though. I really like both. Will that really be the only finish options? If the jazzmaster came with a rosewood neck I would be all over it
