Oh okay, I was always under the impression that they would have to be beside eachother when wired to create a humbucker for the proper sound. So it will basically be the same pickup selections but an additional option of turning them both on together?

there are 3 folks in town that have sx instruments, all of them are basses oddly enough.
one fellow got a 70's styled jazz bass(BADASS!)
