My and my friend had purchased this thing for next to nothing a few years back. He slapped some flatwounds on it and it plays great. Plunk city.

Real Estate's first album has a lot of clean mustang tone. I also hear a mustang on Stereolab's Peng.

It seems as though everyone who plays them swears by them, but they are just straight uggo... Kind of like the peavey wolfgang or whatever its called.
