I had SJAG2 in my Jaguar. They are good pickups but I think a strangle switch is necessary to get glassy cleans out of them. I'd probably just wire a tone knob with a push-pull to make it happen.

I then popped A duncan hot rail in the bridge, but i thought the tone clean sounded flat. These are A good comprimise to me, as ...

Of the numerous versions of current Fender strat pickups sold today, which version would get closest to the original mustang pickup sound?

Reading and searching this great forum, it seems as if the 69 ri mustang pickups are inferior to the 65 ri's.
Has anyone taken A look under the hood and measured them? I also went looking to buy some at Angela's..where it only says mustang pup japan, real fender part. So does anyone know if these ...

just ordered one...the blue. I had a 20% off coupon...so it came to 146. I'm definitely changing the trem and maybe swapping necks with an older cyclone neck, if it fits. Won't ship til 12/16... I'll post pics when it comes. That gives me more time to think about how I'm going to mod this mofo
