Could it be touching the saddle height adjustment screw when you are playing? If so, a heavier gauge string might stay in place better.

Sparky, I don't doubt your results. However, every strat I have tried this on (or measured) would require at least some of the saddles to be off the edge of the bridge and on to the guitar top in order to have perfect intonation.

Its hard to say without seeing the guitar in person. But, I think chances are good that it is just humidity related changes. If the humidity level where the bass is now kept is different than where the bass was previously kept, the neck and fretboard will absorb or release the humidity and change ...

You are right. The GFS bridge is top mount and would not work for a string-thru.

And the Hello Kitty bridge does look larger than a standard strat bridge. So, the 6-11/16" measurement would not ...

You might need longer intonation screws even on a hardtail.

The tremolo bridge is too short. The saddles would end up on the guitar body.

My experience has been that most strats (tremolo equipped) will not intonate properly with the squier CV duo sonic and jagmaster "conversion necks". This is because the intonation adjustment on the bridges is limited.

I suggest re-humidifying in a plastic bag. The kind you get at the dry cleaners works well. It seals up tighter than most guitar cases.

The screw size is limited by the size of the holes in the bar. I used a 1/16" bit to drill the holes in the hard maple headstock. It is holding so far. However, I do keep it tuned to standard D tuning (instead of standard E tuning). This puts less string tension on the bar.
