anyone using these string sets on their guitars?

E standard, with 9s. 22" scale. yes, they were pretty flabby, but you don't need 12s unless you're into that sort of thing.

^^ what he said. passive monitors require a separate amp to drive them, while active monitors have amps built into them. i'd recommend active, for sure.
