Re: Behringer JN-80

The manual’s available now: LANK

Front cover of which says:

Classic Analog 8-Voice Programmable Polyphonic Synthesizer with
3109 VCFs, BBD Chorus and 49-Key Poly Aftertouch Keyboard

So who knows whether it’s poly aftertouch or not? Some guy over on Gearspace who got one early and has posted ...

Re: Behringer JN-80

I think it was an error in a Behringer video that set off the poly aftertouch thing:

The voice over just says "built in aftertouch".

If only you knew someone in the band who might be able to sort you out *lolwut*

Think I prefer the grey/black personally.

Re: Behringer JN-80

I've got a Poly D, which is good fun, but would like a (proper) polyphonic synth to go with it. Would maybe prefer the JT-16 Jupiter 8 clone but, although they had a prototype at NAMM last year, that could still be some way from release. Always a bit hard to tell with Behringer as they often ...

Re: Dual Expression Pedal

There are a bunch of mini expression pedals available. Never used one so no idea how usable they are but could be an option?

You get get these under various brands (Valeton, Donner, Sonicake):

Re: Behringer JN-80

I've got one of those JU-06s. It sounds great but, like you say, four voices isn't really enough for playing chords. I think Behringer going with eight on the JN-80 is a good move.

Andertons have got the JN-80 up for pre-order for £499, which is very tempting...

It's supposed to be a Juno 60 clone, but with 8 voices instead of 6.

I suspect that you're going to get a thread of people saying that the one they have is great

Ha!

I've got a Fender Engine Room LVL 8:

Re: Vista Musicmaster?

Would Mustangs be of interest? There's a load of them available (Squier/Fender, MIM/MIJ/MIA etc with different pick up combinations in stacks of colours).

I've got a Squier Vintage Modified Jaguar Bass Special SS (something of a mouthful), which is great for a cheap fun bass. 30" scale, PJ pickups ...

I can't believe how far Behringer took cribbing the aesthetics of these Mu-Trons... actually, I guess I can

I think they’ve renamed it the Dual-Phase now but changed nothing else about it. Likely the same route they’ll take with their Centaur pedal.

And as if by magic, the Centaur is now ...
