WHERE THE FUCK IS R8?

Based on the documentation on the musikding website there is no R8 or C2. The link below has a pic from the website. I'm very new to electronics, I thought I was supposed to just leave those out. Was I supposed to jumper them or something?

WHERE THE FUCK IS R8? Was I supposed to jumper them or something? No, but the curious thing is that there is an R8 in at least one schematic/parts list.

Pro tip from our cable installer guys: where you've got cables/wires the same colour, use a permanent marker (Sharpie) to put stripes (1 on the first, 2 on the second, 3 etc) on each end of each wire. The most obvious is go back and check all the colour codes to make sure you didn't solder the wrong resistors in.

You could have fried the caps or transistors if you didn't use a heat sink too.

I didn't use a heat sink, but I used sockets for the transistors, so they should be fine, at least. I ...

I picked up a Basic Audio Tri Ram Muff a few months ago, and I can't fault it. It's got a great vintage big muff sound, and is very versatile. I like Mike's IC Muff clone too, it's definitely the fuzziest muff I've tried.

I've got a George Denis mono volume pedal, and I quite like it. The taper is really nice. It replaced a Bespeco volume pedal, but it's active rather than passive like the Bespeco.

Slightly off topic, I know, but anyone know what pedals Gurney Halley uses? I'm definitely hearing some chorus.

I don't really know what the vintage models sounded like since I've never used one, but I thought they were supposed to be pretty good. But I hated it. It sounded ok as a fuzz sound ...

Also, I'm thinking that I could try building an IC Big Muff in my Behringer Vintage Distortion enclosure (after some painting over), so I might just go with the Tone Wicker.

I picked up a Boss FZ-3 today. I've only tried it for a half an hour, but I like it quite a bit so far. I was just wondering if anyone knew if it was based on an older fuzz circuit? Maybe a Maestro or a Tonebender?
