I have a scrap, but it's quite a bit smaller than that. Warmoth Brown celluloid (which looks a lot like the same material as Fender AVRI guards) is sold in 10"x12" ($34) and 10"x16" ($44) sizes. I used it on my Jag build last year since cost was a big factor.

My next task is use a roundover bit to cut the corner on both sides of the body and then route the neck pocket and pickup routes.
Can someone confirm that the neck pocket and pickup routes are both 5/8" deep? I also need confirm that Fender used 7/16" round over bit on Jazzmasters. I have 3/8" and ...

Refin'ing a Refinned '65 Jaguar
I picked this up in January, a local shop had it fs for $1795 in late December...I waited it out for about a month and their price dropped drastically so I jumped on it. It played and sounded fantastic, but it had been resprayed in a thick coat of some sort of car paint, it's close to candy apple ...

Thanks again. I've been thinking about swapping pickups at some point...possibly SD JM Antiquity II's. I had originally planned on putting Jag pickups in at some point, but that's kinda gone out the window since I was able to get hold of a '65 Jag in need of refin (thread coming shortly) for less ...

I have had my HRD for about 6 years. It definitely sounds great with an LP. My Jags or Strats can be pretty piercing through it. It's tough to describe I guess, you kinda have to fiddle with the settings, because sometimes just flipping the pickup switch(es) will take you from boomy/muddy to ice ...

I use D'Addario Jazz Lights (12 set with a wound G) on every electric guitar I have including my current Jag. I've also thrown Flatwound 12 Chromes on it from time to time as well......the "new," "old" Jaguar I'm (finally) bringing home tomorrow has some sort of 11s on it right now that didn't seem ...
