However both of mine have a new format a "JD" serial with more numbers

The original Jag-stangs never were sonic blue, even though they were marketed as such. They were a unique aqua blue, which is most prominent when compared to a "real" sonic blue mustang. This Jag-stang is unfaded.

I thought only the originals were T, U, V & A serial numbers.

what was the general era for gappy saddles? I'm pretty sure my 96 mustang don't have them, my 2004 mustang definitely has gappy saddles, but my 2009 mustang does not

do you prefer white knobs over black knobs?

has anyone ever seen a real early 90's mustang reissue. Kurt's were "O" serial numbers which are 93ish - I don't think ive ever seen one this early on ebay. Earliest mustang reissue I have is a 96.
