I stained the bodies with bic ink dissolved in 91% rubbing alcohol and rubbed it in. The ink rubbed off so I tried to use tung oil to seal it. It still rubbed off ...

The Bic inks I used to stain these guitars is quite reflective. The guitars look very different depending on the lighting. My favorite is the orange one "gar-field". The blue-green pick-guard almost glows in the dark. I mixed the color myself.
