Thanks everyone! I'm psyched about the guitar too, trying to figure out how to best restore the frets, I'll try to take some pics to see what you all think!
I saw the tuners you guys posted, but I have a feeling I'll need a bushing, I'm assuming the previous owner had them drilled out a bit, also ...

NGD! 1966 Fender Mustang (Daphne Blue)
Alas, my first vintage guitar. The offset to rule them all, the one that got me into offsets (basically anything not Strat or Les Paul) in the first place years ago. Funny thing is I never even got around to buying a Mustang until after I got a Jaguar and Jazzmaster (reissues, at that).

Shopping for 1st Vintage! (Mustang)
Fellow short-scale enthusiasts,
I think I've caught the bug hard, would love to shop around for a vintage Fender Mustang - oddly enough this is the guitar that got me interested in offsets in the first place, but instead I somehow ended up buying a Jaguar and Jazzmaster instead!
I'm honestly a bit ...

First, welcome to the forum. I'm a longtime off-and-on player trying to get more disciplined too, so I hear you. Everyone else will likely tell you "practice," and I will too. But another thing that's helped me a lot since I started hanging around shortscale is recording songs for the compilations ...

Learning & Becoming Better as Guitarist
Hey all,
I was hoping you could all help me decide on a method of getting better at guitar. If I'll be totally honest, I've been playing on and off for many, many years now. Over the course of many years, I've moved, studied, and worked all around the states (and even internationally!). That being ...
