I fucking LOVE stereo amp setups, with delays set to bounce about from one amp to the other. Especially with TAP delays. I had my Marshall JMP with SOund City (fanes) 4x12 on the left and my RI Fender Twin on the right. Mixing those two types of sound really worked.

I used to play with a guitarist in a covers band that had a Boss GT-8. It was horrible. Every time he turned it on his amp sounded like plastic city. Disgusting thing.

Tasty. I've been really impressed with the 'Tape' delay on the GT-8 although it doesn't oscillate like the real thing. If this oscillates it'll be freakin' sweet.

Okay I've gotta hand it to Marshall, looks like they were listening in regards to the footswitch issues of the past - I trust Mike's judgment he's thorough. Wonder if it's capable of detuned thrash with an active humbucker without sounding fizzy and tinny.
