Re: Help figuring out of this is real
They knew what they had. I know these guys and have a long working relationship with them. They got bought out by some corporate overlords last year and aren't allowed to sell anywhere but in-store. Drives them nuts cuz they know they could use Reverb to sell some of the stuff they've had in the ...

Re: Help figuring out of this is real
Picked it up (well... layaway. Haha Still) for $600. Came with a TKL hard case. Not a bad deal, i don't think. Needs a little cleaning up, but i think it'll be a total banger.

Help figuring out of this is real
Hey dudes!
Was wondering if anyone had any insight on this.
Found a lefty Mustang at a pawn shop near me. Been offered a great price on it (WAY less than what the sticker in the picture says. It's been sitting there for a while), but I'm a little leery of it. I looked up the serial number and it ...

Mustang Switches and Wiring Help
Hey all!
I was wondering if anyone had any input on this? Can't seem to find a good answer anywhere.
I want to put a P Rails in the bridge and either a Vintage or Cool Rails in the neck of my Jag-Stang. I want to install a 3-way switch for standard pickup switching but wanted to repurpose the ...

Amp switching relay
Hey! So I'm considering running 2 different amps together in stereo. Both are 2 channels with single button footswitches, but I know I can't just use a Y cable to connect them. I use the footswitch output on my TC G System to switch channels currently and I've looked into it and everyone says that a ...

Active Pickup Recommendations
Hey guys. So I just got one of the new Gibson RD guitars (NGD post coming soon). I've never been a huge fan of active pickups, but the Gibson GEM pickups in this thing sound SO good. I may not even do it, but I'm considering putting active pickups in my other guitar as well because of these. Ideally ...

Sounds just like a Jazz Bass. No real difference there. The vintage ones sounded different. Beefier and more aggressive. Listen to Bleach. Krist used one on that record. Kinda wish Ibanez had remade the pickups too.
The neck is between a Jazz and P Bass. The vintage one I had was a baseball bat so ...

I got a fine tipped white out pen and injected it into the inlays on the pickguard. Up close it's rough, but whatever.
Can't get the damn picture to post...

Removing Sharpie from a pickguard
Hey guys. I just got a used Ibanez Black Eagle. The guy I got it from decided the pickguard looked too "pimp" and colored all the inlays and the clear back part with a freaking black Sharpie... I looked up ways to remove it and it seems easy but I don't know if any of the methods will screw up the ...
