Looking to get something within the general budget end of the spectrum, any personal recommendations? Prefer two input types. Best sound for bucks ratio apreciated.

I had a FireBox since forever, but recently had to drop it after Apple dropped FireWire support (the dongles were getting pretty ridiculous.

I've replaced it with a Behringer UMC404HD. It's cheap and great. It "sounds" as good as any, but it's not supposed to sound like anything. It might lack some features, but nothing that I'm willing to pay for.

I suppose it might not be as ruggedly built as more expensive gear, but it stays stuck to my desk, never moving, so that doesn't matter.

I do think this is the one to go for.

I bought the Behringer UMC202HD during lockdown for low-latency Jamkazam use. Good value, I think I had to try various drivers to get lowest latency. UMC404HD sounds like a good step up.
