I love both buckers and single coil guitars....Specifically fenders with buckers or hollw body guitars with buckers. Not too much into Gibby's (although I wound not mind and old Korina explorer or similiar....

Jason ,you should really check out the classic vibe squire tele I bought. For the money definitely the best straight ahead tele I have had. Not as nice as the blue custom shop one I had, but that one cost me 1500 used...Not 300 new with a case.

I used to hate them, now I'm not bothered. The Hi-Gains in my RIC give me the best of both worlds, they're essentially very hot single coils, so there's the beauty of that, and the jangly RIC tonezzz, but they'll roar like an ogar and throw harmonics all over the place if you want them to. I love the trashy sound I get out of my Mustang which wouldn't be possible with 'buckers. So I s'pose what I'm saying is, I don't have the need for them as I can get my metalz from the RIC.
