New parts Tele with BLUE PEARL!!!

I got a bunch of Tele parts from Joey in the mail today. Neck, body, tuners, bridge, assorted screws, etc. All I needed to add were pickups, pickguard, electronics, and a single bridge saddle. I took all the donor parts from my ultra shitty Saga Tele. Both pickups are GFS Fatbody's. Switch is a four way that gives series or parallel when both pickups are on. Everything else is MIM Fender except the saddle on the high E, which is a stock part from the Saga shitcaster. (note to those interested: I will be putting up the Saga tele neck and body in the classifieds soon. Will be very cheap, perhaps free plus cost of shipping).

Here's a pick. I couldn't be arsed to wipe the fingerprints off of the guitar, the finish is actually in very good shape.

i think that pearl is the wrong shade of blue.

i'd have gone with something a little more... green.

Green pearl would rock but I do not have any, as this was the pickguard on my Saga shitcaster. The blue pearl does look darker with a more subtle grain in indoor lighting, I think it looks washed out in the pic from the low winter sun.

green pearl is definitely preferable. blue pearl is surprisingly pleasing though.

red pearl looks better with black to me, but a flat matt black would be even better.

My goal is to get a black pickguard, I'm really only just using the blue pearl because it's all that I have right now.
