well, the coronado and viking are almost copies at first sight but they are two totally different animalsJames wrote:They're often mentioned together but not many people seem to own both. The viking is semi hollow (has a block under the bridge), is very light, pick ups are more responsive (stronger... hope you knwo what iw ant to say), neck is very thin (but also very fast)
But at the other hand: the coronado is beautifull crafted instrument (finish, neck bindings,...). in that way the hagstrom feels a bit cheaper. Coronado Pick Ups are relatively weak and the guitar is not as resonant as is the hagstrom...
so, in the end, it is difficult to say which I prefer, and I think I just have to keep both
