so i have now finished modding the blacktop, I had to change the amp knobs to good ol chrome tele knobs as i couldn't get a good grip (and a man needs a good grip on his knob) when trying to use the coil split...

The lefty 335 & Tele above look great !

Here's my new guitar (replaces my flamenca as my 3rd guitar) : a '62 Gibson ES-125 TC.
Quite clean, and the tone from the pickup is awesome (think Aurora en Pekin by Marc Ribot)
Ideally, a neck reset would be nice, as the action is pretty high, and playing anything higher than 14th fret is hopeless, but I'm not really sure I'll do it.

The other ones (already posted) are a '48 Epiphone Blackstone and a '76 Fender Mustang.

Thanks !
And yes, though I'd gased over such a 125 for quite a long time, I suspect the Epi will remain my favorite (btw the 125 is probably overvalued right now, and the Epi undervalued - even more so with my own guitars, as the 125 is pretty much a collector while the Epi is definitely a player)

Thanks! The body is not exactly flawless when viewed close-up, and I could've spent a bit more time sanding to get it there but I was just eager to finish the project. It'll be a breeze to fix in the future if I really need to since there's no longer twenty inches of plastic coating on the body, but I suspect it will age wonderfully and I won't care.

I just spent an hour browsing through this thread and realized I've never shared my junk!
Here's my collection.

'76 Gibson Marauder - a gift from my Mom. Someone dropped it off at a Salvation Army yeeeaaars ago.

Gibson LP Standard in Silverburst
I found this on Craigslist. It had a busted headstock, so I got it super cheap. I had no idea at the time that this is the "guy from Tool" guitar. Not that I care much, I love silverburst. I'm not sure I dig the EMGs though (they came with it). I've debated getting burstbuckers, but I dunno yet.

Fender Jazz American Standard in Sunset Orange.

1981 O'Hagan Shark Bass. This was my first bass. Not this exact one, but one just liek it. I sold it in college years ago and really regretted it. I recently found this one on Craigslist and bought the shit out of it. Ugly as all fuck, but it has an awesome tone.

My current non SS guitars (I have a mustang and jaguar I posted in the other thread)...my photography skills are fucking dire.

American Std Tele that I had modded. 4-way switch and a Dimarzio fast-track.

Std Faded LP.

Martin HD-28.

I'm desperately trying to suppress GAS atm, but I want another Jaguar of some sort.

HNB - what is that rad looking guitar with the jag trem between the singlecut and the Dean Explorer? Also what's the deal with the Mustang with Jazzy pickups? Awesome collection.

Moob- I love the blue Rickenbacker...every so often I see a color+model combo on a Rick that makes me regret my choice in a Jetglo 330-definitely the case here.

Thanks!

The black one is a Rocket Tone guitar. Nick there made the body and I painted and assembled it. I call it a Black Hole. It was my first ever paint job. :) Has some of my daughter's stickers on it.

The Mustang looking guitar is a full scale guitar made by Andrew on OSG. It has a poplar Mustang body that he made and I painted. (Second paint job.) It was routed for a Jazzmaster tremolo and pickups. It has a toggle and I put amp knobs on it. Currently it has Seymour Duncan Hot for Jazzmaster pickups. I painted the headstock to match and did a custom d3c4l myself.

When I got it.

Andrew also made my full scale Jaguar that I finished in a Metallic K.O. color scheme. (Third paint job I have done.)
