It's a tubescreamer ripoff by Carvin, i think its called a "Carvin TubeOverdrive."
I use it to boost my signal some and give me a bit of dynamic drive.

sounds nice, i like to use tubescreamer-style pedals as boosts. they seem to work better that way, rather than using it as a standalone drive, in my experience.

It's halfway decent. The good thing is that it was cheap and the blue LED is bright. What I dislike is that when used, occansionally I'll get a digital sound that Is audible especially while using distortion. It doesn't tune to drop D well or when I use my bass. But for $30 it's worth it until i find a pitchblack on sale for cheap.

yeah, if i turn the fuzz of, it normally quiets down, but yeah, like a buzzing that only happens when the display is trying to tell you the note?

The spider doesn't break up like a tube amp, but its dialed in clean as a whistle and sounds great

Line 6 spider amps are pretty good. My friend has the original spider 1x12, we set it on the twang setting for our band and it works great. Takes pedals pretty well too.

How's the RV-7, i've been looking into reverb pedals. I think i have it narrowed to the RV-7, Boss RV-3, or the EHX Holy Grail +. Just wondered what ur thoughts were.

thats my plan actually, im done with the pedal stuffs for now, i think i might snag a friend's 80s crate he has, 50w, and he let me turn it all the way up and MAN tubes sound great when pushed to 10

had to get my gator pedalboard out to fit the delay on. i love analog delay, mmmmm the warmth lol
dug out the timmy clone too, fuck me it's got loads of gain. it turns the dirty little secret in to a filthy big whore. lol
