I want that Duesenberg with the fag holder

One of my mom's high school friends has that Minarik isaac eaton posted. It's an absolute beast to play - way jagged but looks sweeet.
I keep feeling like I want a strat - I don't like the look, feel, or body, but the sound is classic. Something with just a neck and middle PUP would be awesome (different body, of course - maybe even single cutaway).

Ultra's Jaguar. I already have a Jaguar. Why do I want a BLUE one so much?

friend of mine had one - so awful: like playing an acoustic that had humbuckers glued on -real slut of a guitar since it plays badly, looks tacky, but still so would..

Gibson? Check.
Humbuckers? Check.
Sunburst? Check.
Notoriously badly balanced? Check.
I'd swap my Jazzmaster for one in a heartbeat.

Don't think there's anything contentious about the Firebird, especially that one- it's gorgeous! [edit] not the reverse one, the one above. I think reverse Firebirds look shitty.
I'll have another "that Duesenberg with the fag holder" and add "that Duesenberg with the crocodile skin".
And some more pointy shit:
And a Parker Nitefly:

There is considering they look a million times better than they play.

My point entirely - I prefer them, when conventional wisdom is, you're not meant to.

No bridge pickup = completely useless.

bollocks.
i love neck pickups, bridge pickups just never qutie cut it with fuzz. and vice versa for crunch.
hence i don't really use bridge pickups, especially on the jazzblaster. the 76 mustang's bridge pickup is really quite meaty though so i use that often.

I couldn't live without either, but I could get by without the neck. Not so the bridge.

The only things I don't like about that guitar (well, the A width version I'd want)
- The amount of pickguard screws make it look like part of a submarine
- I don't have one
The bridge pickup thing doesn't bother me at all. Perhaps it wouldn't work well in a band setting but I rarely use the bridge.
