there's a thread that james posted HERE detailing how to lower the switches with longer screws, i did it with the neck switch on my duo sonic but haven't got round to doing it with my mustang. it's worth it though.glitchathon wrote:The main reason that I would want to do this is that the switch closest to the neck is in the way of my strumming. I can play but when i really start rawking out I start hitting the switch with my hand! If I got rid of it and rewired the other switch, I would be back in business.
yea i did see that and that may solve my problem. i need to try it and see if it is still easy to move the switch. If not, i may end up swapping switch positions since it is the neck position that i need to change whereas i tend to leave the bridge alone.stewart wrote:there's a thread that james posted HERE detailing how to lower the switches with longer screws, i did it with the neck switch on my duo sonic but haven't got round to doing it with my mustang. it's worth it though.glitchathon wrote:The main reason that I would want to do this is that the switch closest to the neck is in the way of my strumming.
