yes the brand, i know there not everyone's cup of tea. but i like it, sounds like i want it to sound. as long as i can get ac/dc and the bluesbreaker's album tones, it's good.

I hope you had a lot of change from this compared to the prices of the brands you quoted in the beginning.

I read that as: he gave the guy a guitar worth more than £220, so the shop guy gave him some money back as well.

the guitar was £220 if i was to buy it out right. i trade in my casino, which was a more expensive guitar and they gave me some money back.

This Edwards LP with amp knobs is pure filth! Not cheap at £869 though.

I wouldn't have traded a Casino but hey ho it's not my guitars.

as much i liked the casino, it wasn't for me. fed back too much at gig levels and had high output pickups, which made it difficult to balance between guitars.

But it looks so good as I said it's your choice so as long as you like it that's all that matters.

I was pleasantly surprised. Has a coil split switch. Generally it feels like Epi quality but I've not played it plugged-in.

Glad your happy with that Rob, Vintage seems to be gaining a lot of respect recently. Is it chambered or is it a heavy motherfucker?

I had a MIK Tokai, MIK Epi and a MIK Burny (LP's), the Tokai was the better guitar of the three.
Also had an 82 Ibanez Artist (like Tim mentioned) and that was way better than all of them, up there with handmade stuff like Eggle and Gordon Smith. Heavy though, even with a wide strap it would dislocate your shoulder.

The japanese Tokai's that I have tried have all been wonderful. It's hard to believe they can sound soo good for the buck. And their custom shop is in the same pricerange as regular Gibsons.

it's a heavy fucker, shoulder was kaining afterwards. It's worth it though, sounded amazing. Very versital, I was going from norah jones to deep purple and throughtout it was rounded and full on the neck pickup and bright and crisp on the bridge.

oooh vintage, i love this guitar. besides the shitty relic job.

Edwards makes a very attractive john sykes LP. I'm not sure how they play, but they look amazing.
