Their website makes it sound kind of mysterious, describing it only as "somewhat of a secret weapon".

The Vintage Guitar review linked on their site had this to say about it:
Teye adds a Mood knob, which controls a proprietary circuit that aims for single-coil sounds. As you roll it off, you can hear a less-bassy sound emerge that speaks to Fender-like tones, especially when you tweak it with the Volume knobs. Combining the neck and bridge pickups on the La Guitana produces a Peter Green “out of phase sound. Many guitar builders try to achieve this, and thus, reviewers tend to be rightfully skeptical, but the Teye nails that nasal, throaty sound.
Sonds kool.

Possibly just a blend pot-controlled coil split?

You'd have to own one to be sure though. I'd say know someone who does but they'd never tell.

Apparently the one in the Teyes is boxed off to retain teh secrecyz, but it sounds like this would do the same thing.

-Accesses North & South / Inner & Outer Coils.
-Provides varying amounts of coil tapping for both pickups.
-Variable "Coil Filter Modes" provide new tonal options.
-Completely passive-No battery needed.
-Works with any multi-wire humbuckers.
-Use with a pair of humbuckers or a single humbucker.
-No affect on tone at full clockwise setting.
I really want one in my Les Paul now, I never use the tone knob on the neck pickup so I wouldn't be losing anything converting it to master tone/one of these. Damn it Shortscale, you meddling kids!
