Are they standard sized strat pickups (i.e. easily replaceable) or have they been "smart sized" to some weird measurements like the neck?Leisureclub wrote:I love the guitar acoustically but the bridge rail pickup is absolutely garbage and teh single coils are only slightly better. Hope you can track down something suitable. Be sure to come back and post whatever you end up with.Guchot wrote:Wow, what a bunch of tips. I'll try to get my hands of one of the duosTHX for all your help
They're just regular old strat pickups. It's just tough to choose. I think the neck and the body and the pickguard are the only things that wouldn't be very easily replaceable. Everything else is just a regular ol' Fender guitar part. It's swimming pool routed so that gives me more options and I'm not sure that's a good thing.BearBoy wrote:Are they standard sized strat pickups (i.e. easily replaceable) or have they been "smart sized" to some weird measurements like the neck?Leisureclub wrote:I love the guitar acoustically but the bridge rail pickup is absolutely garbage and teh single coils are only slightly better.
