It's a great sounding and playing guitar... not the best looking thing but if you get past the look, what a guitar.
To me it also looks great, raw classic

timhulio wrote:I dug my backup Musima Elgita out of the cupboard, lem oiled the fretboard and managed to adjust the truss rod until the neck was relatively straight. It's actually a really nice sounding guitar which I'd never played for more than half an hour before now. The pickups are quite low output, which is fine by me. I'd like it even more if I could put them out of phase.

Never lemon oiled (or any other oil) a fretboard on any guitar I've owned, whats the benefits / point?

The same as anything you oil up that you put your hands on a lot and go up and down a lot.
C'mon, I know you know what I am talking about.

The new S-type has arrived:
has a weird built in tuner on the volume pot, N tune or some such ting... Works well but looks gash, shall be removing it post haste (during new pickguard installation)

My grandpa bought that guitar new back in 1959.
He gave it to me a few years back.

I traded two tanks of nitrous for this thing.
I now have the courage to play live naked with a shaved ass and giblet combo.
