I didn't feel like this warranted a new thread so in here it goes. I've recently redone my 1983 Strat and I'd say it's now the classiest looking guitar I own. The pickguard is gold anodized and doesn't photograph as well as it looks in person. Fretboard is unfinished and has gotten super dirty so I might see if I can do something about that without damaging it. Pickups are DiMarzio Injector / Area 67 / Injector and they RULE. Most versatile single coil setup I've ever had.





Would've looked like this originally. It was routed for the traditional Strat setup long ago when these weren't worth a thing.

I love the black and gold. Very classy.

It’s not a Toronado but an Ovation Tornado from the late 60’s with some TV Jones Classic Filtertrons in it:

Update of non-short scale offsets.

Not included in spoilers are my Non-offset as its a PITA to get them all out for a photo. If anyone is interested there's a list in this: If anyone wants to see anything gimme a shout. The Ibanex LGB30 will be on the chopping block as I've replaced it with the Eastman as its a less flamboyant version of essentially the same thing.

It’s great - it’s the 3/6 one, but practically it will take 5 with a bit of space between them. As most of my guitars have nitro paint I’ve been using Hercules stands for years now.
