Tried something different today:
VPJR splitting the signal, the tuner out goes to the acoustic B200, and the out goes to the OCD/DLS box then into a SF Bassman
So the acoustic is always on and the ocd/bassman is swelled in via the volume pedal


The B200 does great cleans for guitar, and the bassman being pushed a little by the OCD is just great. The 15" speaker in the acoustic and the 2x12s out of the Bassman really smacks you in the chest after 5 on the volume knob

that sounds pretty cool. i've heard a few players that like to layer a clean signal with a slightly dirtier signal. it gives you some of that clean picked definition.

i'm preparing to go in the studio with the band, can't wait to stick my tweed through a 4x12. i'm going to trying running a marshall TSL 60 stack.

This is slightly outdated, I've sold the Carbon Copy and the wah and aquired a Fuzz Factory, Boss Rv-2, Earthquaker Devices Disaster Transport, Vox Wah and a big box EH Frequency Analyzer.

I was trying to following your lead and cram another pedal on, but with my cables I could fit the lpb1 on.. The ect takes up a lot.

This has been the setup the last few weeks. Simple but it's all I really use. The lpb-1 isn't realy used except to fuzz out my OCD/DLS so it's probably going to hotrod for a sd-1 to mess around with. Lank was also kind enough to give away a behringer eq so a few new things to experiment with.

new Fender Super Champ XD with my 10" ragin cajun. putting the stock fender 10" into my marshall cab, and then i can switch back and forth at will since this amp is awesome.

Love love love love those super champs, great little amps. Since you can A/B the speakers like that (very interesting) how does the eminence compare to the stock? That's a pretty common mod so I'm curious.

the stock one was broken in already since i got it 2nd hand so i can really compare it (most of those super champ xd owners i see on forums buy em new and expect wonders with the amp when the speakers are not even broken in yet.) i have to say i really liked the stock one too. i lose a little of the top end fender chime with the ragin cajun but i keep a low down roar that can be heard above 3 on the volume knob. it breaks up nicely in the higher volumes opposed to the stock. if you are playing in an apartment and keeping the volume knob below 3 you might not notice anything at all except the cajun taking away some of the 'chimes' of the Fender blackface and vintage voices.

as a comparison the biggest difference is the weight. that stock fender speaker weighs next to nothing! the ragin cajun adds a fair amount of weight to it unfortunately. will definitely be keeping the fender speaker and getting rid of the 10" celestion in the marshall stack.
