Wooo! Thanks very much I might hold you to that cos I've just bought a couple of Madbean boards. Or even let me know where you got yours (Small Bear?) cos it'll probably be a time before I can build myself anything for fun anyway.

Which boards did you go for?
In the past I've got MN3007s only from Small Bear but recently I took the plunge and got 20 from ebayseller sharpseller2000 as they weren't hugely expensive and I thought I'd take a gamble.
I built up a board for my new Chorus and tested them all when they arrived and they're legit, which is a score.

I should be able to release the LOLYCHORUS Chorus/Vibrato in a couple of weeks, basically whenever we can get the decal designed and I can box one of the PCBs I've built up. They sound ace. Photos soon.

Mike that looks fantastics. The knobs remind me of the old knobs used on the originals. Cheers to Benecol on the decal...out did himself on that.
I love how it takes up like half the space even compared to the Newer boxed version of the Deluxe Memory Man.
Any chance of a shootout demo with your old DMM?

It's probably about the same size as the new DMMs in the XO box, just orientated Portrait.
Alas Benecol has my old DMM so no shoot out until I move to Bristol and nick it off him for a bit I imagine.

Christ that's a lot of wiring! Nice job though. Hope you're charging a fortune for those double pedals!
This is purely an aesthetic thing, but I'd use M5 and M6 washers for the switches instead of those things with the tab on.

It is a lot of wiring, but it's not that bad. It's about an hour on the bench to wire up the whole pedal. I'm not charging the Earth, but I'm doing OK.

Didn't manage to get the case drilled this week but am aiming for next week. Am pretty excited about it.

Who does the finishes on your cases?

Tim (benecol) does the graphic designs and drill guides for me in the digital domain but I do everything in terms of painting and finishing the cases. All the cases I buy are unfinished recycled aluminium Eddystone cases.

Damn nice job, then. It takes some degree of talent to get finishes to come off that evenly.
