This thread has made me think about what effects are important. Obviously I want a dream pedalboard with everything, but a small mobile pedal board would be nice too.

if we're sticking to what's logical and within reach and reason, i would say it would be:
tuner (maybe pitchblack) -> some sort of compressor -> modified Tube Screamer circuit -> delay (Memory Toy?)
fantasy pedalboard:
tuner (OK not very crazy but hey) -> EHX Black Finger -> Redwitch Famulus -> Malekko Ekko 616
