Why does the weight of the pedal matter at all? I prefer heavier pedals because I feel like they are more solid devices.

why does it matter? because it's my fucking preference you ponce. you, with your delay before your distortion, should understand all about preference.

i also stated it's too noisy to justify an ugly behemoth of a pedal taking up space and mass on my pedal board. i don't need a solid device, i need one that works and is cheap. i don't gig, and i don't weigh very much, so plastic behringer and metal boss devices are about as deep into the rabbit hole as i go. think about it this way: say you like the line park, and one of their other stupid module deals, and you want them both on your board. now you've got to have two of those giant hunks of crap.

I agree they are heavy. You could probably kill someone if you hit them with one of them. Where the enclosure itself is built (and weighs) like a tank, the modules aren't. I've seen tons of the modules where someone stepped on them and crushed them in.

Isaac, having one on your board doesn't make too much of a weight difference but if you have 2 or more, it gets very heavy fast. I had a friend that had three of them on his board and it weighed a ton just because of these pedals. May not be a big deal to some but when you are gigging and have to lug amps and gear around, a heavy pedal board kind of sucks.

I guess if you have a bad back like I do, weight is an issue all the time.

My thing is, if it's a big or heavy pedal, it better sound amazing and/or be very useful. If it's just an ok pedal and it's heavy and/or big it's not worth it to me to lug it around or for it to take up the room.

I thought I heard or read somewhere that the newer Line 6 docks were a lot lighter. I know the one's I've had were the heavy ones.

I do want a Verbzilla though no matter how heavy it is.

Seeing as how I like delay pedals and I love dropping acid I am really intrigued by that l.s.d. pedal lol it looks pretty sweet. Just curious to know when there will be a demo.
