Anything's possible. Fender didn't really have "stock" in the fifties; whoever was doing assembly just reached into a bucket of parts. A picture of the back of the headstock would help.raymondd wrote:yeah me too does anyone know anything about this?BobArsecake wrote:Very nice!

i'd pull the neck off and look for a date stamp on it
but yeah fender just used whatever was handy in the 50's to put things together.

well im not planning on selling it, i still have that "new guitar excitement". but if i do ever decide to get rid of it you(DuoSonicBoy) and robert(original) will be the first to know.

yeah, the idea here is that if you get something cheap(like your duo)
and you play it for a year, then you pretty much have ot sell it on here for the price you got it, especially considering the price you got it for( you played it for a year for free!)
anything past that is past bro deals.
but that shouldn'nt discourage you from listing it.
