It doesn't seam to have a looper, so i probably would only by one if it costs 200 euros or less

Anyone updated their m9/13 to the latest firmware yet? Mine had 2.0.1 out of the box iirc, bought the midi cable to update tonight. 48 scenes sounds enticing. As if 12 weren't enough!
I can't decide if I want to make a double preset breakout box or get two expression pedals and a pt pro

Mine came with the latest software on - it's worth upgrading just to get the particle verb, if nothing else.

Was messing with mine last night, doing silly things with the Octisynth.

Line6's instructions are terrible. Ended up along it my way (midi out of pc to midi in of m13)
Supposedly the echo rec is fixed/more accurate. 48 scenes is cool on paper, but I still haven't filled my 12.
Anyone up for sharing some good drive settings and what guitar they are using?

There's no doubt they're very cool boxes, the M9 and M13 - but if I couldn't justify the cost at Â£299 I certainly can't at Â£349. To be honest I'm so much just a two pedals into an amp guy these days all that stuff would be wasted on me.

I'd be interested to see how they price that M5 thing, it still boggles me it exists - I imagine it will be too expensive and won't sell.

I'm sure loss of pre will jump on it just for its "pedalboard friendly" size. Especially if it has stereo ins/outs. Hell, if it had an expression pedal then loads of people will want it for a good sounding analog/tape sim with feedback or repeats control. Its a clever box and I too am surprised its going to be made, but they have done the research and know they will sell plenty of them. Now if only the price is right...

I can recall seeing something about them being around the $175 Mark. That'd be around a ton over here. Doubt it'd be that cheap though.

Nope. As with all gear, a useful currency conversion method is to remove the $ symbol and replace it with a Â£.

That M5 could be quite useful, there's a load of effects that I would probably never buy for not really needing them but if I could get a load in that small box for cheap it wouldn't be so bad.

Which pedal train do you have now? I thought you were using the PT pro, but that could be because the M13 looks so big on camera.

PT-1, the pro is huge, could probably fit two m13s and some other devices.

I have the pro so I know. M13 just looks huge it's hard to get a reference for it's dimension when it's not in front of me.

What was your big reason for switching to the M13?

I think I've got close to a few of those; the Octisynth can do some truly odd things even on its own with the right settings.

Loads of fun for not a terrible amount of money. Delays, reverbs, LOOPER, lots of modulation effects that I would never buy or build, effect loop, built in noise gate and tuner [still never getting rid of the pitchblack though] and scenes.
Rigt now I have a scene or

The music I ply at home
Scratchpad
Thrice tunes
Ambient looping stuff.

Which leaves me... 43 scenes left over

Has anyone else noticed the tuner on the M9/13 is a bit shit? That alone is keeping me from taking it to practice by itself, I have to keep a pitchblack/1-spot just because the m13's tuner isn't accurate enough.

It seems accurate enough to me. You can see the difference in pitch from striking the note and resonating. It's accurate and very responsive.
