COuldnt have picked a better pickup set, IMO. Personally I'd need a 6 saddle bridge, but most people dont.

Drop the pickguard, do a J-45 style burst, and I'd be all over that.

That LP/Tele thing looks great! A P-90 in the neck with a tele bridge. Talk about a sweet sounding guitar!

Individuallity is the key here, and aesthetics. i love some mismatched stuff but some of it looks awful.
The Wesley Jag in my avatar looks really good with two soapbars ans a Strat trem, imo it just 'works'.
