Needs jm neck pickup. Otherwise it's just a tele with a huge wonky body.

I'd quite like a tele with a wonky body.
Like this one over on the bareknuckle forum for example:

I saw this the other day and thought it looked great.
I really like the simplicity of a Tele set up on a JM body.
Would definitely rock that.

I seen some great ones lately.
I sort of want something like this.
Not a tele bridge or pickup but very slick looking and simple.
Another one that looks great from this same guy.

Everytime I see a telemaster thread I keep asking myself why the heck doesn't Fender just make one if there's a market for it ? I've been bouncing the idea around of trying to build a budget telemaster . Said and done I can do it for under $600 . The Warmoth way mostly since I don't really have access to woodworking equipment . Pretty much bolting painting and soldering for me . I was also thinking of getting an Xaviere XV-JT90 and going to town on it putting on a proper tele neck , better hardware and rewiring and customizing the electrics to my liking . You know, since Fender will never do it . I come to find myself buying a shit load of guitars as of late . Think it's time I pull the trigger and make one .

I really like that cream Telemaster. Looks like something you could buy in the store.
