New Bronco project

*EDIT*
While waiting for parts to arrive, I started with what I already had at home.
What I have here is the collet from a cheap jazzmaster-style trem (cut down slightly), the arm from a Japenese Mustang and a dome headed nut with a holedrilled in the dome.
Assembled;

Just gotta wait for the rest of the guitar to arrive...

Yes, it made me chuckle. My phone posts are always a bit crap- i blame the vintage-style browser.

Dave, I wasn't gonna spill the beans until I have all the parts in my grubby little mitts.
But, since you ask. I have a body coming from
Cooterfinger, no trem arm sadly; which is why I cobbled together parts for the trem.
I got some AVRI Jaguar pickups from Othomas2.
Already have a toggle, pots and knobs.
The neck is an Allparts JGRO, tinted with French polish, then blown over with Nitrocellulose clear and an ebay decal slapped on.
I've got some poverty kluson-style white button tuners for it too.
Pics to come when I have all the parts together in one place.

Woohoo!!!
Today I got
THIS Bronco body from Cooterfinger.
Today the batteries in my camera also died, so I can only take shitty pics with my phone.
What I'm really suprised by is that it is a totally different shape to my other (1972ish) Bronco, this one has noticably thinner pointier horns.
And now I'm torn wether to install AVRI Jaguar pickups or a combo of Jag quarter pounder bridge pickup and '65RI (I think) neck pickup.
I've got some 250K pots, and bronco style Knobs to go on this, in fact I have
£220 worth (LOLZ!)
OPINIONS NEEDED ON THE PICKUP OPTIONS PLEASE!!!

Camera has battieries, I has guitar parts. So, photo opportunity:
The neck and body still need a little wet sanding, a polishing, etc...
I need to do a little routing on the body too, mainly for my choice of 3way stitch. I'll have pics when I've done it.
Almost forgot; I have a string tree and some strap buttons on thier way.

Good news/Bad news:
Good news;
I sprayed a load of nitro on this, flatted it sprayed, etc.. Ready for a final wet sand and polish.
Looking good:

Also did a little bit of routing, needed a little space around the pickups, the 3 way switch, and near the volume pot.
Bad news;
Because I didn't want to scratch all that sexy shiny lacquer, I wrapped it all in masking tape.
Routing went well, but when I peeled the tape off, some of the colour came with it.

Oh, well. Shit happens, I guess.
