German Hofner with built-in Fuzz

My friend's store got a '60s Hofner just like this one below. Only problem is bridge pickup is weak and may need to be rewound. Also it it news a spring for the tremelo and I don't know what kind(bigsby string won't work.Otherwise it is a pretty cool guitar and it plays well. I think he want's $600-$700 for it.

that looks brilliant. i love the old VOX guitars with the built in effects but even without the onboard fuzz this looks the mutts.

Thanks! My friend fixed the electronics,it was just a loose wire. Pickups are fine,don't need a rewind. I ordered a new old stock tremolo spring from Musikkeller. Now I just need a Truss rod cover and it will be complete.

Wish I could afford it, not the time of the year to be buying guitars for me I'm afraid (as is the case with everyone else too I'm sure).

I don't suppose you'd entertain the idea of a straight swap with my Hagstrom Viking II would you? (not even 100% sure I want to, just throwing it out there to gauge interest).
