I actually had fun today at Guitar Center

I went to the Guitar Center near my work and had a blast today. It's the one in Dallas on 635 Loop near the Tollway.
First of all, they had offsets in stock! They had two AVRI Jazzmasters that both played very nice. I dig the olympic white over the sunburst. These didn't not help my Jazzmaster GAS I am currently suffering from at the moment. They also had a used AVRI Jaguar in CAR with a matching headstock. The salesman said it was special thin skin run from the factory. Guitar felt heavier than my AVRI Jaguar and it still had the mute on it. Never played a Jaguar with the mute on it. I enjoyed playing the mute for about 2 minutes and then the novelty ran out. I do like how the mute flips back and forth. Another cool Fender I didn't play was a Fender Esquire they had. It had a Seymour Duncan humbucker and a set neck. Red from top the headstock to the entire body. Had white stripes and weird contours on the top. Looked really cool. Made in Korea I believe. I demoed all the guitars through a Fender Super Reverb. Really enjoyed that amp! Cleanest amp I have every played. All in all a fun day. I resisted buying a Platinum Pedaltrain mini, but settled for some guitar strings.
