I was told by the previous owner it was a 1946 Gibson L48 that a Gibson employee installed pick ups in. It has no serial number.

BTW, what matters is it sounds so good. You know you have a keeper and when you play it you start writing new songs.

Actually it wouldn't because the ES-125 TD didn't come out until 1957, they stopped using that logo then...pumpkin wrote: Okay they started making the ES-125 in 1941 so I guess that would jibe with the headstock logo...

I don't see how the amount you paid would affect how much it's worth to someone else, but hey-ho. The single pickup 125s were still pretty affordable a couple of years ago, they don't seem to command anything like the crazy prices of other Gibsons.
