Punkacc9 - if it's anything like my LP it will have a truss rod and be a really decent guitar. Am seriously impressed and surprised at the quality. I guess the only thing to consider is the pickups - as mentioned in that video Thomas posted, they won't be potted and prone to feedback, especially in a non-solid body.

I think a few of us down in PR are gonna do a group buy of dave grohl copies...

Some of these guitars are awesome

If they're up to the same standard as the LP Thom got they're a no-brainer. Remember tho, it took them a few years to get the LPs up to the standard they are now so the first few batches of these might not be quite as good. The old Chinese copies were laughably bad.

Pretty much anything that is being made in china currently should have great copies, I've been involved with a company who have production based in China that have had all their old tooling "disappeared" when changing manufacturer and nowadays most of their current tooling had been copied 1:1 and is now being used to create exact copies. The only way you can tell the difference is in the finishing and actual materials used.

I totally want one of those dave grohl guitars and possibly a kurt stang or a jazzblaster. Someone buy one of these and see how they turn out

Aye I bet if someone was to order they'd just get one of those wonky Jazzmaster copies instead. I've saved a seller who looks legit and has something like 30 completed orders. A majority of them either have none or one or two.

Tread with caution me thinks.
