Since I sold my 66 jazzmaster to hurb, I've been feeling very lacking not having a jazzmaster, so I got myself a MJT body for cheap while I was visiting the states, and had pretty much enough parts to build one for myself. May get flamed for the extreme relic action, but I like it, and got it for pretty cheap. No rhythm circuit, 2 volumes no tone. Maybe will put a jag bass cut switch in, but not till I'm back in the USA, so not for a while.

It had to go, too nice of a guitar for me, and needed monies for Move to Norway

That relicing looks awesome! The white headstock kind of works in a weird way, too.

How did you get the 'crazing' effect on the lacquer? Did you use a heat gun?

Did everything fit OK? I've heard of people having to increase the size of the routing to fit the trem and the upper control plate.

Looks very very nice. I especially like the DR with the white headstock. Super cool.

no problem with fit, the neck pocket is super tight, so much some paint flaked off setting the neck in place, but thats no problem, especially on a guitar with so much paint knocked off on purpose. Better big gaps on the neck pocket
