Managed to get one after debating between this and either the Boss DM-2 or MXR carbon copy.
It’s a darker delay than I’ve used in the post, but I like it. Running it on a short slap-back like a faux reverb and like how it melts into the dry sound. Not bad for £45 shipped.

I had my eye on one of these on my endless modulated delay journey, bargain!

Took me ages to realise this is my favourite type of delay, esp when there's ALSO a bit of low-end roll off too, so it really sits
behind the guitar in the way real ambience does. Sure, you can't do the 'dotted eight' U2 bullshit as convincingly, but I use a slapback way more than I play stadium rock.
Just found it on
Tonepedia too (fucking best website for "trying out" pedals), and it
does sound lovely. Bit of a bummer to not being able to control the mod speed tho, I guess that stopped at getting one previously.

As I’ve gotten older, I’ve realised that delays do more than me trying to cop run like hell or Brighton rock solo.
Probably too much watching of that pedal show has changed my outlook. Discovering that slap back is more than trying to play like Brian setzer was a game changer.
You can adjust the mod speed, just not on the fly. There’s a trimpot inside.
You are welcome to have a cheeky lend if you ever want a dabble.

Oh nice! That already puts it above the Carbon Copy, where they're both Trimmy Turners
Very sweet to offer, thanks dude; I'll likely keep an eye on eBay to see if I can get one
mad cheap.
