I have been seeing some amazing deals on FB Marketplace.

I sold one of my other guitars and was able to pickup this Gretsch White Panther from 2013.

This guitar was part of the 130 anniversary and was made in Japan.

Gretsch kinda marketed these guitars at the 335 crowd, hence the right angled input jack.

It has some finish issues from around the neck but otherwise its in awesome shape for used guitar.

The case was well used and I had to do some tolex and latch repair.

I have two other Electromatic Gretsches, but this MIJ Gretch is definitely a step above in terms of feel and finish.

I am going to do a full cleaning today, but I have been able to get the Bigsby to stay in tune.

I am super stoked and can't believe I snagged it. (60% of the time it works every time)

Looks awesome and I like that unlike vintage Gretsches it has a proper long neck for this double cut body style, not a short neck with a giant heel. And also no back cover. It does look beautiful.

Heavens to Betsy, that is gorgeous.

Sort of reminds me of a teenage/early twenties crush I had on John Frusciante's White Falcon, and other associated Gretsches.

I got the White Panther all cleaned up and setup.

I swapped out the stock Bigsby arm for a Chet Atkins Wire Arm and installed a Vibramate to make restringing easier.

New strings from StringJoy.
