I thought about posting this in the Swinger thread, but thought I’d start a new one because most of the photos are lost in the old one anyways.
I thought I would post all the usable templates I have made over the years.

Clockwise from the top: Swinger, second generation Duo-Sonic/Musicmaster, Jaguar routing, Duo-Sonic/Musicmaster routing, P-Bass neck, Duo-Sonic/Musicmaster/Jaguar neck, Swinger 24” neck.

I just made the Jaguar routing today but I’m going immediately transfer it over to so 5/8 plywood because the M in MDF for this one means Mushy

The Duo-Sonic/Musicmaster routing was designed so I can cover the pickup routes when I do the switching routing which is deeper.

Nice templates. I watched a youtuber who said he always re-does his templates in plywood because he quickly messes up his MDF ones

Yeah, a lot of people make a template of there templates so they don’t wear out as quickly. Others “paint” the edges with superglue.
