Had a go at the classic LBP-1 (aka the Saltbooster).

and the result is…
…it don’t work.
I did breadboard it before hand but in the process of doing the final layout I may have mixed up some resistors or flipped the transistor or made a bad solder joint.
I was overly ambitious to make my first one so tiny.
I’m going to start over later this week this time for a normal size enclosure.

Elon seems to be interested in SS amplification, though nobody told him that it stands for solid state
