Squier Affinity Jaguar - betrayal ?

I’m looking at those Squier Affinity Jaguars and thinking.
I wanted to get the cheapo mustang but fell short.
So now it’s my salary day and I’m thinking - maybe an Affinity Jaguar. Any of You have experience with them ? Are they any good ? I have played an Strat and Tele, they were kind of ok. I’m thinking would it be kewl for a first Jag or no ? Just wait and get an Fender Players II ?
Or because of it missing the “extra” circuits it’s not a real deal ?

Circuits don’t matter much, but Affinity models often have rougher necks and less care and attention to detail in the construction and finish. If you can play it and like it, sure, why not, these days even the entry level stuff is pretty excellent.
I’d put the money into a used VM or CV Squier unless being brand new is important to you.

I use the rhythm circuit a fair bit on my Jag, but rarely use the high-pass filter (I use that a lot with my Bass VI, less useful to guitar)... but I think my use of the rhythm circuit isn't the norm - lacking it likely won't be a problem for you.
I've only played an Affinity once. It definitely felt cheaper than the more expensive models, but, that's to be expected. I think the neck profile felt ok, frets could use a little care... I imagine there is a fair bit of variability instrument to instrument. I didn't plug it in (I rarely plug in in a shop) so can't comment on the pickups.
I'd say give it a try, see how it feels in your hands. If you don't like it, don't buy, or return it and save some more for a CV, maybe a Player II.

Im just thinking some pedals or a guitar
Maybe its a flip a coin situation, ha.
Which one of the two Youd prefer, the sunburst “rosewood” neck or the brownish with maple neck one is nicer ?

Sunburst is a tad overplayed, but has a pretty classic this is a Jaguar quality... the sparkle brown (the one I tried in shop) does look kinda interesting, and reminds me of a Rootbeer Sparkle Tele I played years ago.

No such things as too much into ambient sounds!
